Group IV base oils, commonly referred to as Polyalphaolefins (PAO), are the most representative, widely used synthetic base oils with high technical barriers. Compared to mineral oils, PAOs offer higher purity, superior high/low-temperature performance, lower volatility, and overall enhanced performance.
