Applications
Recommended for aluminum billet production processes utilizing Wagstaff air slip casting and graphite ring casting technologies. It can be applied via automated oil injection systems or manual coating methods, delivered continuously to the mold surface by gravity or pump pressure. During manual application, a thin layer of oil should be brushed onto a clean mold surface, with a small amount applied to the mold base plate to prevent bubble formation and smoke when molten aluminum contacts the metal. The specific dosage or coating amount should be determined based on the mold type and alloy composition.
