AluCast 500 series is a specialized release agent designed for aluminum and aluminum alloy (including aluminum-magnesium and aluminum-zinc alloys) slab casting. It is suitable for horizontal/vertical semi-continuous casting of aluminum ingots and extrusion lubrication of aluminum billets. Compared to conventional release agents, it offers enhanced extreme pressure performance, adhesion, and high-temperature cleanliness, significantly improving the surface quality of aluminum alloy slabs and billets.

Applications
Ingot Casting: Stir before use. Apply a thin coating evenly to the clean inner wall of the mold using a flat brush. A small amount of oil should be applied to the mold base plate to prevent bubble and fume generation upon contact with molten metal. The recommended method is light brushing on the mold base plate.
Slab Casting: AluCast 500 exhibits excellent fluidity, enabling continuous lubrication during the casting process, especially for products exceeding 5 meters in length. The release agent can be continuously sprayed onto the vertical surface of the mold via gravity or pump systems.
